Felix está se preparando para uma longa viagem, mas deve primeiro cuidar de alguns assuntos inacabados. O belo rapaz nunca conheceu seu pai, Johan, que dirige um "jazz" café. Felix is preparing for a long trip, but must first take care of some unfinished business. The handsome youth has never known his father, Johan, who runs a jazz café. But when Felix visits the café, Johan mistakes the stranger's interest as sexual, and a dangerous attraction is ignited. Drawn Out Love is a sensitive and provocative drama about love and longing.

Felix (23) zoekt voor het eerst van zijn leven zijn vader op. Zijn vader, Johan (44), runt een muziekcafé in Amsterdam. Hij weet niet dat hij een zoon heeft. Felix bezoekt regelmatig het café van zijn vader, maar steeds is er een reden om de bekendmaking nog even uit te stellen. Johan is homoseksueel. Hij begrijpt de zoekende blikken van Felix anders. Hij denkt dat Felix, net als hij in zijn jonge jaren, op zoek is naar zijn seksuele geaardheid.
